At Denmind Psychiatric Solutions, our goal is to provide a prompt and competitive treatment that is individualized to meet the needs of the patient/family. We utilize telepsychiatry platforms (online) and in-person (office) visits to provide mental health services. Please during the booking of your appointment, always confirm with us whether your appointment will be in-person or via telepsychiatry (online). Considering the current COVID-19 Pandemic, all appointments will be telepsychiatry (online) over secured video and voice calls. Emmanuel Nwabude, PMHNP-BC

Emmanuel is a Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). He attended College in Oklahoma, originally starting out as a Computer Information Systems major and later pivoting to nursing, having experienced firsthand, the impact that timely and quality care can have on a person.

 

Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007, Emmanuel spent a lot of years caring for patients with varying degrees of medical and psycho-social issues in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Throughout his experience in the ICU, Emmanuel observed that his patients needed psychiatric care as much as medical care for their full recovery.

In 2016, Emmanuel completed a graduate study in Advanced Practice Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, earning a PMHNP certification.  Emmanuel diagnoses and treats different psychiatric conditions that includes, but not limited to ADD or ADHD, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, dementia, substance use disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder, binge eating disorder, genetic testing for medications, Impulse control disorders, Schizophrenia and other mental health conditions across the life span.  

He offers psychotherapy, and a comprehensive medication management treatment that is individualized to meet the needs of the patient. He also provides education that helps patients make better lifestyle choices. Emmanuel is currently seeing patients from the ages of 10 and up. He utilizes telepsychiatry (online) and in-person (office) visits for conducting psychiatric evaluations and follow up visits.

 

Emmanuel's experience in healthcare spans many years and various health systems – North Houston Psychiatry, Memorial Hermann, Methodist Hospital, Kindred Hospital, OakBend Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital and University Hospital. Emmanuel works closely with patients to help them meet their healthcare goals. In doing so, he offers a compassionate care, unconditional support, and includes them in the care process while utilizing evidence-based treatment guidelines.
